Joint Master's Degree East European and Eurasian Studies - MIREES
Overview: MIREES is a 2-years (120 ECTS) international Master's Degree jointly awarded by the University of Bologna, Vytautas Magnus University of Kaunas, and Zagreb University; Comenius University (Bratislava) is a special partner that welcomes mobility students and participates in teaching activities.
It is an innovative international joint master's programme, taught entirely in English, devoted to students who have a BA background in Economics, Politics, International Relations, History, Languages or Cultural Studies at large and would now like to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Eastern Europe and the broad Eurasian space, from Europe to China.
Prospects: MIREES international academic environment prepares the students to become consultants, analysts, and managers as AREA SPECIALISTS on East Europe and Eurasia for international agencies, public administrations, private and public companies and NGOs, while also offering a solid basis for further academic studies at the PhD level.
Programme structure: 1st year at the University of Bologna - Forlė Campus ; 2nd year, fall semester a minimum of 5 months compulsory mobility abroad at one of the Partner Universities (Erasmus+ or other mobility grant is offered), 4th semester internship/thesis in Italy or abroad.
The programme will start on September the 19th, 2022.

1st INTAKE: by 23 MAY 2022 h 12:00 (CET): open to Italian, EU and non-EU citizens with EU equivalent status candidates: 15 places Non-EU candidates residing abroad: 20 places
2nd INTAKE By 5 September 2022 h 12:00 (CET): open to Italian, EU and non-EU citizens with EU equivalent status candidates: 15 places + residual places not assigned in the first intake.
