Daniela Katunar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her research focuses on cognitive linguistic and constructional approaches to language and their application to models of language processing, as well as the development of computational semantic resources for Croatian. She is a collaborator at the Research Centre of Excellence for Basic, Clinical and Translational Neuroscience and a member of the Laboratory for cognitive linguistic research in translational neuroscience (CLiN-Lab). She is a Fulbright scholar (2014/2015, Princeton University). Her secondary interests are related to science communication and popularization of linguistics.
Her main areas of interest are semantics, cognitive linguistics, construction grammar and
semantic typology.
