 četvrtak, 27. travnja u 18.30: “Czech it out: SF-Film in Czechoslovakia during the Golden Sixties”.

OPIS PREDAVANJA: In Czechoslovakia, the sixties were not only a time for cinematic rebirth in general, but also for the SF genre in particular. Despite their popularity at home, only few foreigners are acquainted with such Czech classics as “Ikarie XB1” and “Who wants to kill Jessie”. The lecture shall rectify this as it explores both films divergent aesthetics and understandings of SF.
