Ivana Latković graduated in 2005 from the Department of comparative literature and the Department of Slavic Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. The same year she was employed as a teaching assistant at the Department of South Slavic languages and literatures. She earned her doctoral degree in 2011 with a doctoral thesis entitled Representational practices of the past in the contemporary Slovene novel under supervision by Professor Zvonko Kovač. She collaborated on the several scientific projects, domestic and bilateral. She has published a dozens of scientific papersand the book about contemporary Slovenian Novel, as well as translations from the Slovenian language. In his research he deals primarily with contemporary Slovenian literature, the comparative history of South Slavic literature and literary history methodology.
