I was born in Zagreb in 1957, graduated from Classical High School in 1975. At the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, I achieved BA degree in 1980 of Archaeology and Classical Philology.

I began working and teaching at the Department of Archaeology as an assistant in the field of Classical Archaeology in 1983; MA degree in Classical Archaeology achieved in 1985, and PhD in 1993. In the 1994 I was inserted in the List of the researchers under the no. 128774. Since then I have been teaching Classical Archaeology at he Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. In 2010 I became tenured professor. Mentorship: c. 40 BA dissertations, 3 MA dissertations and 5 PhD dissertations were successfully defended under my mentorship.

Ongoing projects: Currently I am the leading researcher of the research project Corpus inscriptionum latinarum quae in Croatia repertae sunt (130-0000000-0825).

Awards: I received the “Josip Juraj Strossmayer” HAZU and Zagreb fair Award in 2005 for the best scientific book of 2004 (Stara Grčka: Grci na Crnome moru).

I received the year award of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2005 for the book Stara Grčka: Grci na Crnome moru. Memberships: Croatian Archaeological Society; Institute for Classical Studies and Languages; Croatian UNESCO board.
