After the 1st and 2nd International Conference on the Roman Danubian Provinces both hosted by the “Laboratorio di studi e ricerche sulle Antiche province Danubiane” (LAD) of the University of Ferrara, and the 3rd International Conference on the Roman Danubian Provinces hosted by the “Department of Ancient History and Antiquity Studies, Papyrology and Epigraphy” of the University of Vienna, the “Department of Archaeology“ of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb, gladly invites you to the 4th International Conference on the Roman Danubian Provinces.
The conference will take place in Zagreb from Wednesday, November 15th to Friday, November 17th 2017. The organizing committee invites abstracts for papers on the topic Traian in the Roman Danubian Provinces.
Organizers:
The Conference is organised by the Department of Archaeology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Studies in Zagreb within the framework of the project RoMiCRO: Between the Danube and the Mediterranean. Exploring the role of Roman military in the mobility of people and goods in Croatia during the Roman Era (HRZZ, IP-11-2013-6505) and the Department of Ancient History and Antiquity Studies, Papyrology and Epigraphy of the University of Ferrara.
